Animelister is a PHP and MySQL -based system for keeping your anime fansub collection organized. It has customizable categories, request lists, fansubber database, searches and so on, while still remaining simple to use.

Animelister has been made by Esko Luontola, aka Jackal von ÖRF, alias ORFJackal. Animelister 2.0 got started during Spring 2003 as one school project in the CS Department of Helsinki University. Its predecessor, a flat-file database -based one week-end's product, has served faithfully since Spring 2002 and might be released some day at SourceForge as Animelister 1.0.
